This role involves direct collaboration with the Collections Supervisor to manage overdue loan accounts. The position supports the supervisor in the recovery of outstanding loans, ensuring all collection activities adhere to the relevant program rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact clients concerning delinquent payments.
• Support the resolution of past-due loans, which includes helping clients schedule or complete overdue payments.
• Help ascertain borrowers\' plans for loan payoff at maturity or for potential renewal/extension.
• Engage clearly with delinquent clients to assess eligibility and establish structured repayment plans.
• Negotiate settlement arrangements with past-due clients and prepare the corresponding agreements.
• Aid in the drafting and preparation of Default Notices and Demand Letters.

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise

• A high school diploma is required.
• Prior customer service experience is necessary.
• Previous collections experience within consumer lending or the SUBPRIME industry is essential.
• Strong analytical abilities are needed.
• Skills in negotiation, skip tracing, and asset review are advantageous.
• Must be detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and thrive in a fast-paced setting is crucial.
