Project Manager Position Overview
The House of Pontovi is looking for a skilled and seasoned Interior Design Project Manager to become part of our studio. The perfect applicant will possess a solid history of leadership and demonstrated success in overseeing residential and hospitality projects from initial concept through final delivery. This position demands outstanding organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the skill to handle several prominent projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.
Primary Duties
Project Planning and Implementation
- Establish the scope, aims, and objectives for each interior design assignment.
- Formulate thorough project plans with detailed schedules, task lists, and resource distribution.
- Oversee multiple design projects from start to finish across different sectors.
- Guide design documentation through all stages of a project.
- Track project advancement, establish deadlines, and guarantee design implementation aligns with quality benchmarks and client needs.
Budget and Financial Oversight
- Prepare and administer project budgets from the beginning to the end.
- Keep all projects within financial limits while preserving design quality.
- Outline and schedule project milestones to adhere to external deadlines and budgetary limits.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a primary liaison for project coordination among clients, contractors, fabricators, architects, and suppliers.
- Cultivate robust client relationships via transparent communication and careful management of expectations.
- Deliver project progress reports with polished presentation abilities.
- Resolve client issues and ensure their contentment throughout the project duration.
Documentation and Regulatory Adherence
- Examine and submit all project documents, confirming design intent and technical precision.
- Ensure all project outputs meet fundamental code requirements.
- Handle submittals, Requests for Information, and the review and response to ASI/IDSK documents.
- Work in concert with consultants and technical experts as required.
- Guarantee the punctual delivery of all project milestones.
Team Leadership and Cooperation
- Excel within a small, cooperative team setting where each individual\'s input is valued.
- Communicate in a clear, open, and professional manner with every team member.
- Work productively with FF&E and interior design teams during all project phases.

- Provide final endorsement on designs, spatial layouts, and material choices.
- Confirm all work satisfies the firm\'s high standards and commitment to design superiority.
Required Qualifications
Education and Background
- Bachelor\'s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated history of successfully managing multiple interior design projects from idea to realization.
- Substantial experience in interior design project management.
- Significant familiarity with Construction Administration procedures.
Technical Proficiencies
- Solid understanding of project management frameworks.
- Skilled in using Google Drive, InDesign or Programma, and Microsoft Office.
- Additional software knowledge may include AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Studio Designer, and similar tools.
- Comprehension of construction documents, specifications, and building regulations.
