We are looking for a freelance professional who is knowledgeable about design, passionate about sourcing, and dedicated to projects, capable of working in a cooperative setting that fosters creativity and provides expert project organization.

Job Requirements

• You are skilled in both design and sourcing, possessing a keen sense of style and solid instincts for practicality and budget management.
• Your aesthetic is modern, organic, textured, and livable, matching our design philosophy—envision warm minimalism with layered neutrals accented by art and accessories.
• You are highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at independently managing your time and tasks.
• You excel at managing upward—you show initiative, communicate proactively, and keep projects advancing without needing constant supervision.
• You are client-oriented, remain composed under pressure, and are confident presenting concepts and progress via Zoom, phone, email, or in person.

Skills & Tools

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong design sense and the ability to source furniture, lighting, and decor that align with budget and style requirements.
• CAD (2D): proficient with floor plans, elevations, scaled layouts, and dimensions.
• Proficient with Google tools: Slides (for design boards), Sheets, and Gmail/GDRIVE for organizing project files and folders.
• Confident in taking on-site measurements and creating floor plans.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in adapting luxury designs to meet budget limitations.
• Comfortable supervising other freelance support or interns.

Bonus Skills:

• Photoshop or other visual editing software.
• Familiarity with trade vendors and design showrooms in Los Angeles.
