About This Job

This role involves part-time, intermittent employment with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA). The individual will be engaged to gather data and execute additional tasks in support of the cooperative arrangement between NASDA and the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Primary Duties

• Perform Interviews: Conduct telephone-based interviews with individuals, including agricultural producers, to obtain precise survey data.
• Clarify Survey Objectives: Effectively communicate the purpose and methodology of surveys to participants to foster cooperation and ensure comprehension.
• Document Information: Precisely enter responses received into a designated data entry software system.
• Uphold Data Integrity: Examine collected information to verify its thoroughness and correctness.
• Address Questions: Provide responses to participant inquiries concerning surveys and associated subjects.
• Manage Documentation: Maintain precise records of interviews, schedules, and other administrative duties.

• Proven experience handling multiple tasks in a setting with firm deadlines.
• Superior and accurate typing and data entry abilities.
• Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Reliable, high-quality internet connection.
• Access to a quiet, private workspace.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours

This is a part-time role featuring adaptable scheduling, with weekly hours not exceeding 30.
