Position Overview:

Are you personable and dependable? Become a Petition Circulator for important California ballot initiatives, including:

  • Ensuring health care non-profits spend 90% of funds on direct services.
  • Capping disproportionately high salaries for health care chief executives.
  • Establishing funding and loan programs to assist middle- and low-income families in purchasing homes.
  • Increasing the minimum wage to $38 per hour for airport and hospitality workers within the City of Los Angeles.

This is a grassroots campaign to place these measures on the ballot – every signature you collect is crucial.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with registered voters in busy public areas such as parks, community events, shopping centers, and sidewalks.
  • Provide clear explanations using supplied scripts and training materials.
  • Track progress using a customer relationship management system.

Benefits of This Role:

  • Begin immediately after a brief training period and receive daily earnings.
  • Meaningful work that influences public policy and allows for community interaction.
  • Growth potential: leading circulators may be promoted to paid coordinator roles.

Compensation is based on results, with a focus on respectful voter conversations rather than high-pressure tactics. All activities comply with California regulations.
