Arroyo Parkway Self Storage is seeking a dynamic and driven individual for a Roving to Full Time Storage Consultant role. Ideal applicants have backgrounds in diverse customer-focused and sales-oriented settings such as retail, hospitality, and food service.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by identifying client requirements, suggesting suitable storage options, and facilitating the acquisition of necessary solutions.
  • Support customers in person and via telephone with payments, inquiries, unit rentals, clarifying terms and charges, and finalizing rental contracts.
  • Process new move-in and move-out procedures, including corresponding data entry.
  • Advise on and sell moving supplies like boxes, tape, and other relevant products.
  • Reconcile cash drawer; compile and submit daily bank deposits.
  • Perform daily inspections of storage units to verify availability and ensure they are secure or prepared for rental.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager for necessary training and guidance, aiming to surpass company standards.
  • Maintain the facility\'s curb appeal by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, clearing debris, and window washing to ensure the office environment is tidy, secure, and inviting.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of the property, including storage areas, buildings, office, and restrooms, and replenish supplies.
  • Present a professional image consistently.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in sales and customer service.
  • Customer-focused with excellent organizational and administrative abilities to help manage tenant and office activities.
  • Attentive to detail with proficient time management skills.
  • Vibrant, sociable, and customer-friendly disposition.
  • Strong capabilities in communication, interpersonal relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Works effectively both autonomously and as a member of a compact team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week, weekends included.
  • Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, a clean driving record, and access to dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
  • Satisfactory credit history.

Benefits:

  • Hourly wage range: $18.05 – $19.25 (contingent on experience)
