Our rapidly expanding, client-centered legal practice is in search of a meticulous and well-organized Case Manager. This role also encompasses administrative functions and providing support to our litigation attorneys. We manage a substantial caseload and require a reliable, professional individual capable of handling duties with both speed and precision.

Position Overview

The Case Manager and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the daily oversight of case files, supporting attorneys throughout pre-litigation and litigation stages, and completing administrative tasks to facilitate seamless firm operations. The perfect candidate will possess previous law office experience, a solid grasp of litigation procedures, and effective communication skills for interacting with clients, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.

Primary Duties

  • Oversee an assigned portfolio of cases from initial intake to resolution or trial.
  • Keep all case notes, records, and critical deadlines current and accurate.
  • Engage in professional correspondence with clients, claims adjusters, healthcare providers, and legal professionals.
  • Prepare correspondence, various requests, demand packages, and foundational litigation documents.
  • Aid in discovery processes, document organization, calendar management, and trial readiness activities.
  • Initiate and track insurance claims and requests for medical documentation.
  • Assemble settlement summaries, disbursement records, and case closure paperwork.
  • Execute general office tasks, including appointment scheduling, file maintenance, document scanning, and supporting overall workflow.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in litigation or legal case management is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with personal injury law, claims processing, or civil litigation is advantageous.
  • Superior abilities in both written and oral communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic setting and adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor, dependability, and comfort in client interactions.
  • Proficiency with case management software such as Filevine, Needles, or SmartAdvocate is beneficial.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Korean or English and Spanish are preferred but not essential.
