We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Production Assistant to join a prominent and established beverage corporation located in San Fernando (Monster Drink). This organization is involved in the manufacturing, bottling, and distribution of drinks throughout Southern California and provides a vigorous, hands-on workplace.
Role Summary:
In the role of Entry-Level Production Assistant, you will provide support for daily manufacturing operations within a rapid-paced production setting. Comprehensive training is available for individuals who demonstrate a solid dedication to work and a keen interest in learning and professional development. The perfect applicant will possess prior background in food processing or general manufacturing, be in good physical condition for labor-intensive tasks, and thrive in a cooperative team atmosphere.
Primary Duties:
- Support daily production operations, which include cleaning and disposing of empty drums, waste, and miscellaneous debris.
- Pre-measure recipe components like sugar, syrup, water, and other substances by adhering to precise formulations.
- Prepare, configure, and manage water pumps and hoses, connecting them to large industrial equipment.
- Disinfect machinery before and after operation to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
- Execute strenuous physical tasks, including regularly lifting items weighing up to 60 pounds during the shift.
- Preserve a tidy, secure, and orderly workspace in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and organizational guidelines.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Required previous experience in food processing, manufacturing, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with inventory management, shipping, and warehousing is beneficial (experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrapping is preferred).
- Capability to frequently lift up to 60 pounds during the workday.
- Fundamental arithmetic skills for following recipes and performing basic calculations.
- Dependable, timely, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal English; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable (Spanish).
Work Setting:
- Rapid, loud, and physically demanding environment.
- Subject to both high and low temperature conditions.
- Involves operating heavy machinery and equipment.
