EngAGE is seeking energetic instructional facilitators to guide groups of vibrant older adults. This position is for a 1099 Independent Contractor. We are interested in teaching artists specializing in these areas: fitness and wellness (such as yoga, tai-chi, dance, general fitness, movement, or ZUMBA), arts and creativity (including drawing, painting, writing, acting, or singing), and lifelong learning (for example, technology, computers, nutrition, cooking, or languages).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly or biweekly instructional sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a diverse range of participants.
- Maintain communication with the on-site Program Director.

Training:
A guided tour of the community facilities will be provided before classes commence.
Support:
Assistance is available from EngAGE personnel and the on-site management team.
Commitment:
Successful fulfillment of the agreed-upon class schedule.
Amount of Time:
Typically one hour per week or two hours every other week. Schedule is to be determined and offers flexibility.
Time of Day:
Scheduling is adaptable. Morning and evening time slots are available Monday through Friday. Weekend sessions can be arranged upon request.

Qualifications:
- Must be at ease instructing active older adults.
- Must pass a clear LiveScan background check (FBI/DOJ) before beginning service.
- Valid driver\'s license is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience teaching and leading groups of older adults in a classroom environment.
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
- A genuine enthusiasm for health, wellness, and/or creative pursuits.
