Job Overview
Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional service to your community? As a Connectivity Expert, you will become the local authority, assisting eligible customers in enrolling in our premier Lifeline Assistance and Affordable Connectivity Program. You will empower your community to utilize the outstanding, nationwide T-Mobile network, featuring 4G LTE and 5G capabilities that ensure constant connectivity. We are searching for a proactive individual with strong relationship-building abilities and a positive attitude, who enjoys engaging directly with people to help them stay connected. What You Will Do in Your Role:
- Engage directly with members across multiple local communities. Generate interest in complimentary Lifeline and ACP cellular services and assist qualified customers in accessing available programs.
- Drive brand awareness and sales. Collaborate with local community leaders and Infon marketing teams to take part in promotional events and community sales opportunities. Formulate strategies and sales plans to convert prospects into customers.
- Meet and surpass sales objectives. Achieve targets related to sales, operations, and customer satisfaction.
- Successfully complete all required training and ongoing education. Learn about—and remain current on—our products, services, and sales methodologies.
- Support company goals. Foster an inclusive environment for customers and colleagues. Demonstrate personal initiative. Consistently uphold high standards of ethical and professional behavior.
- Dedicate over 51% of your time to field work, promoting Lifeline services.
- Travel and additional duties. Travel within a 50-mile radius of your designated city is necessary. Other tasks and assignments may be given.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acquire new customers primarily through face-to-face engagement.
- Conduct follow-up with customers to establish service.
- Attend and create promotional event opportunities.
- Work with management to enhance prospecting skills. Participate in product and service training and attend sales meetings.
- Travel between local communities (frequency may vary).
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor\'s Degree is preferred.
Work Experience:
Less than 2 years of Sales or Customer Service experience is required.
2-4 years of Wireless Industry experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Task Management: Capability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that demands significant multi-tasking. Required.
- Customer Service: Proven experience providing excellent customer service with strong attention to detail. Required.
- Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Required.
- Negotiation: Effective negotiation and closing abilities. Required.
