Job Summary
Individuals serving in the On-Call Mobile Response Unit are certified Security Officers trained to deliver on-demand services. Their main duty is to answer calls from a central dispatch station to address security incidents or alarms at client locations. This role operates on an on-call \"gig\" basis, where members signal their active availability to the dispatch center during their regular work hours. When a situation requires the On-Call Mobile Response Unit, the dispatch center issues a call to available Officers, selecting responders based on proximity and readiness. The responding Officer(s) travel to the designated location in their personal vehicle, adhering to response procedures as guided by the central dispatch. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals with security experience who currently work with services such as Uber, Lyft, Doordash, Amazon Flex, or similar gig platforms.
Officers receive payment for each successfully completed dispatch and for meeting specified availability goals.
This role demands a strong sense of professionalism, accurate situational evaluation, cooperative communication, and the capacity to adjust efficiently to diverse challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Rapid Incident Response and Scene Assessment
- Answer alarms and emergency calls swiftly following a dispatch request.
- Upon arrival, perform an immediate and comprehensive assessment of the scene to accurately identify the nature, extent, and necessary response for security violations, disturbances, or other emergencies.
- Address and defuse conflicts and disturbances.
- Provide aid during critical emergencies, including fires, medical crises, and active threats.
- Apply observational abilities to examine and report any suspicious activities observed during response operations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement authorities as required after an incident.
Incident Documentation and Reporting (Key Task)
- Compose clear and succinct incident reports that detail all observations, actions performed, and results.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail when recording incidents to produce precise and legally compliant documentation.
- Keep accurate logs of emergency response times and measures taken during dispatch calls.
Professionalism and Support
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff during emergency scenarios.
- Consistently maintain a professional and polite attitude, upholding the highest principles of integrity and professional conduct.
Qualifications and Physical Demands
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Must hold and keep a valid California Guard Card.
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is advantageous.
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Capability to stay composed and focused under pressure during high-stress dispatch scenarios.
- Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills are crucial for effective scene evaluation.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Must be able to react quickly to emergencies.
