Sunday and Monday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Tuesday and Wednesday: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Saturday: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Overtime shift)
Days off: Thursday and Friday
Position Summary
The Security Field Supervisor is a vital leadership position within GSSi\'s operational framework, responsible for ensuring all security staff, patrol routes, and stationary posts adhere to the established standards of both the company and its clients. This role supports a wide range of clientele, from major retail complexes and Business Improvement Districts to residential patrol contracts and private property locations.
Acting as the operational department\'s representative on the ground, the Field Supervisor coordinates personnel, inspects assignments, offers instruction, manages incident response, and upholds the professional integrity and dependability synonymous with the GSSi brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections of active security officers to verify adherence to company policies, uniform standards, and specific post instructions.
- Deliver immediate coaching, corrective measures, and direction to field staff to maintain uniform service quality and performance.
- Address incidents, client inquiries, and emergency situations swiftly, offering support and completing precise documentation.
- Oversee staffing levels and attendance at designated sites; assist in arranging coverage for absences, tardiness, or critical posts.
- Accurately complete Field Activity Reports, Daily Patrol Logs, and Inspection Reports using the TrackTik software or designated system.
- Perform inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure the patrol fleet remains operational and presents a professional image.
- Function as the primary point of contact between clients, security personnel, and management, ensuring service-related matters are resolved promptly and courteously.
- Aid the Operations team in the training and assessment of newly hired employees.
- Promptly report and document any safety risks, client issues, or performance shortcomings.
- Consistently enforce GSSi policies, BSIS regulations, and location-specific safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- A valid BSIS Guard Card is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record (a company vehicle is supplied).
- At least two years of professional security experience, with one year in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to produce clear reports and provide direct instructions.
- Proficiency with TrackTik or comparable patrol management software is highly desirable.
- Must be adaptable and available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Professional appearance and behavior that aligns with GSSi standards.
- Prior experience managing schedules for security officer call-offs and unfilled shifts.

Physical Requirements
- Capable of standing, walking, or driving for prolonged durations.
- Must occasionally be able to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits
- Weekly payroll

- Hourly Wage: $22.00 per hour
- Paid vacation time following one year of employment
- Uniforms, training, and necessary equipment are supplied.
- Paid sick leave accrues after 90 days of service.
