About This Job

A licensed security firm is seeking a part-time Security Officer to work at a medical office and its adjacent parking lot in Pasadena. The role will also involve providing break relief for another security officer on site.

Part-Time Schedule

• Monday: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Saturday: 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM

Requirements

• Possess a valid Guard Card issued by the State of California BSIS.
• Hold a valid California Driver\'s License or State-issued California ID.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the security industry.
• Friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills and an enjoyment of interacting with people.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct when representing the company.
• Have reliable contact methods and internet access to use the company\'s phone application.
• Maintain a clean-cut, professional image.
• Possess reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual skills are a plus).
• Capable of writing clear, legible, and detailed reports in English.

Job Duties

• Conduct continuous observation and regular foot patrols of the assigned location.
• Report any safety hazards, security violations, or unusual events.
• Complete required Daily Activity Reports.
• Prepare incident reports and alert appropriate personnel in cases of theft, vehicle accidents, or other emergencies.
• Exercise strong attention to detail and sound judgment during challenging or emergency situations.
• Uphold the highest professional standards at all times.
