Part-Time Security/Receptionist Needed for Dispensary (Harbor City)

We are seeking two reliable and professional individuals to join our dispensary team in combined Security and Reception roles. This position is ideal for someone who remains composed, enjoys interacting with people, and takes satisfaction in assisting others—particularly our senior patients and frequent clients.

Your primary function will be to help maintain a secure, hospitable, and orderly environment while delivering excellent customer service at the front entry point.

Primary Duties:

• Welcome and aid customers and patients with a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Meticulously verify identification and ensure all visitors are properly cleared for entry.
• Conduct hourly patrols around the property perimeter to monitor safety and tidiness.
• Assist with receiving deliveries—checking them in and ensuring they are stored securely.
• Provide support to elderly or disabled patients when entering or leaving the facility.
• Uphold a tranquil atmosphere and help defuse any potential conflicts if they arise.
• Keep the front desk area organized and manage basic reception tasks such as sign-in logs.
• Maintain clear communication with staff and management regarding any concerns or occurrences.

Necessary Qualifications:

• A valid security guard license (such as a BSIS card in California).
• A courteous, professional outlook and solid interpersonal skills.
• Dependable transportation and a history of consistent punctuality.
• Capacity to remain vigilant and perform regular walking rounds.
• Previous experience in security, retail, or customer service is advantageous.
• Must be at ease working within a licensed cannabis dispensary setting.

Position Details:

• Part-Time roles are open across multiple shifts.
• We are hiring two candidates.
• Compensation: A competitive hourly wage, disbursed in cash every two weeks.
