Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Foreman to lead one of our structural field crews operating across Los Angeles County. This is a full-time, permanent role designed for an individual with substantial experience in concrete work, framing, foundation projects, and structural repair.

In this capacity, you will supervise and guide a crew on structural and foundation repair projects. Your duties will involve planning daily activities, delegating tasks, and managing overall workflow on job sites. You will be required to interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and project scopes, as well as coordinate the necessary materials, labor, and equipment to ensure project efficiency. A critical responsibility is enforcing all safety protocols and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards. The role also entails monitoring progress, completing daily field reports, and maintaining clear communication with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients. Furthermore, you will provide mentorship and training to crew members, fostering their professional advancement.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Foreman or lead in foundation, concrete, or structural repair work is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in concrete, framing, shoring, seismic retrofitting, and drainage.
  • Competence in reading and understanding structural drawings and blueprints.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ownership of a pickup truck appropriate for transporting tools and materials is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous.
  • Must be available to work year-round at various locations throughout Los Angeles County.
  • Must pass a drug screening and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday.
  • Day shift consisting of 8-hour periods.
  • Occasional weekend work may be necessary.

Work Location

This position is field-based, involving travel to multiple job sites across Los Angeles County. Daily travel is required.
