Position: Touring Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced production specialist with deep knowledge in lighting, LED video, and live audio to head our national touring operation. The perfect candidate excels in rapid-paced touring settings, provides clear and assured leadership, and guarantees the flawless execution of every event from initial setup to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the assembly and dismantling of a 72’ x 36’ performance stage.
• Manage all production components related to lighting, video, and audio.
• Operate or oversee the operation of:
  1. Avolites lighting console.
  2. Resolume Arena software for LED video wall control.
  3. JBL sound system via a Mackie mixing board.
• Coordinate load-in procedures, cue calling, and real-time show modifications.
• Uphold rigorous standards for safety, signal routing, and timing.
• Maintain daily communication with Tour Operations, Event Directors, and venue representatives.
• Ensure all technical aspects are executed smoothly within strict deadlines.

Tour Commitment

• Must be available for weekend travel from January through July 2026.
• National production team provides all accommodations and travel arrangements.
• Load-in typically occurs on Thursday, with show days running Friday through Sunday.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated background in live event or touring production (theater, dance, concerts).
• Solid practical understanding of DMX, signal flow, and LED wall management.
• Proven leadership experience directing crews and resolving issues in high-pressure situations.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and work extended hours.
• Outstanding skills in communication, organization, and time management.

Bonus Skills

• Previous touring experience within dance or competitive events.
• Understanding of power distribution and stage rigging.
• Familiarity with LED wall pixel mapping and show calling procedures.
