If you are seeking an engaging and creative instructor for learning Spanish from a native speaker, you have come to the right place.

I was born and raised in Peru. After extensive travel, I now reside in the Pacific Northwest with my family. My professional background is in law, as I previously worked as an attorney in South America. However, since 2010, I have discovered a profound passion for teaching Spanish to individuals of all ages, proficiency levels, and backgrounds. I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for the Spanish language.

My students include those pursuing Spanish for personal goals, travel, academic requirements, or professional needs. I possess the expertise and experience to guide learners toward fluency through intuitive and practical methods.

I have also instructed children, ranging from first grade through high school. Some students begin with no prior exposure to the language, while others require supplemental support for their school curriculum. Witnessing their improvement in knowledge, academic performance, and motivation has been immensely rewarding.

Regarding my teaching approach, I emphasize conversational Spanish while ensuring solid grammar and pronunciation. Lessons are designed to be interactive, enjoyable, practical, and well-structured. I will provide step-by-step guidance to help you achieve each milestone on your learning journey.

For beginners, I establish a strong foundation in Spanish. As a native speaker, I will instruct you in correct pronunciation from the very start. Being bilingual, I am also available to clarify concepts in English whenever necessary. I am pleased to assist you in the initial stages; I explain concepts clearly, and I am patient, flexible, intuitive, and creative in my instruction.

At the intermediate level, we will reinforce previous knowledge and progress to more advanced conversations and structures. This stage focuses on expanding your vocabulary and enhancing conversational fluency. As a native speaker, I can introduce common expressions used in everyday speech that are often overlooked in traditional textbooks.

With advanced students, my objective is to maintain language vitality and achieve fluency. We engage in extensive conversation and revisit grammar concepts as needed. Spanish is a rich language spoken across many countries, and I can illuminate its varied uses and meanings.

Rate: $40 per hour.
I do not offer free trial lessons; however, I can schedule a shorter 30-minute session for $15 if desired.

Payment is required in advance via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
