About This Service

Skilled private tutor available to help your student achieve excellence in English Language Arts. With thirty-three years of classroom teaching experience across grades six through twelve, I adapt to your student\'s individual starting point—whether they are struggling to keep pace, maintaining current levels, or seeking an extra edge to reach the highest tier. Instruction covers novels, poetry, grammar, and the enhancement of writing and speaking abilities. I believe understanding each student is key, as it builds the connection that fosters effective learning. I also have experience working with second language learners. My rate is fifty dollars per hour, and lessons are conducted via Zoom or Google.
