We are seeking a committed, meticulous, and reliable individual to contribute to the assembly of high-quality, impactful products. This hands-on role places you within a cooperative production team dedicated to precision, operational efficiency, and superior outcomes. The position is full-time and requires on-site presence five days each week.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform product assembly utilizing an array of manual and powered tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, drills, and soldering irons.
- Conduct quality inspections on components and report any discrepancies or problems to production supervisors.
- Maintain current certifications and complete necessary training for all assigned production processes.
- Accurately document production information and communicate concerns in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and consistently wear mandated personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team training sessions, continuous improvement initiatives, and efforts to optimize workflows.
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide support for cross-functional production activities.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, safe, and orderly.
- Assist in meeting production targets by being available for additional shifts or overtime as required.
- Carry out other assigned duties relevant to the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in an assembly, kitting, or packaging role.
- Capability to comprehend and follow both written and spoken instructions in English.
- Keen eye for detail and a forward-thinking approach.
- Superior manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended durations.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, utilizing assistance when necessary.
- Demonstrated reliability, effective time management, and a dedication to producing quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of experience within a manufacturing or assembly setting.
- Exposure to ISO 13485 or comparable quality management standards.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
Work Environment
- This is a fast-paced manufacturing facility involving interaction with machinery, tools, and variable temperatures.
- The role entails frequent bending, twisting, lifting, pulling, and prolonged standing during the shift.
- Regular operation of inspection instruments and material handling equipment is required.
- Strict compliance with all safety regulations and the constant use of necessary PPE is mandatory.
