Paid Temporary Dog Fostering Opportunity for Dog Lovers (West Hollywood)

California Posted 2 months ago non-profit

About This Job

Los Angeles is currently experiencing a significant crisis due to animal overpopulation. Many wonderful dogs are at risk of being euthanized solely to free up space in shelters. Would you like to make a meaningful difference and help save a dog\'s life?

Become a Foster with Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue

Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is looking for compassionate and dependable individuals to provide temporary, loving homes for rescue dogs as they await their permanent families. We provide all necessary items—including food, supplies, and medical care—and offer a monthly stipend in exchange for your time, dedication, transportation assistance, and high-quality care.

Monthly Stipend:

  • $300 for dogs that are friendly with other dogs.
  • $400 for dogs that are aggressive toward other dogs (requires a home with no other pets).

This is not a conventional job; it is a deeply meaningful opportunity to transform a life. Our team is committed to supporting you throughout the entire fostering process.

Benefits of Fostering

  • Experience the joy of loving and caring for a dog without a long-term obligation.
  • Save two lives: the dog you foster and the dog that can then take its place in the shelter.
  • It is a rewarding, fulfilling, and enjoyable experience.

Foster Requirements

  • Age: Must be 21 or older.
  • Home Environment: No small dogs, cats, or small children. Most of our dogs are large, weighing between 60 and 100 pounds, so comfort with big dogs is essential.
  • Household Approval: All members of your household must agree to fostering. If you rent, please ensure your building or property is pet-friendly and permits dogs.
  • Time Commitment: A minimum commitment of one week is preferred. Short-term fostering, especially during the first few weeks of December, provides valuable assistance.

How to Apply

If you are interested in becoming a foster, please respond with the following information:

  1. Your name
  2. Your phone number
  3. Your email address

Open your heart and your home to help a rescue dog take the next step toward a permanent, loving future.
