Welder Position

We are seeking skilled welders to contribute to the fabrication, maintenance, and installation of various welding projects. Additional responsibilities may involve the upkeep of welding equipment within our shop facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum and steel.
• Execute TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Fabricate sheet metal components.
• Conduct spot welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Utilize a gas torch for welding, brazing, soldering, and cutting operations.
• Work competently with a diverse range of materials.
• Measure for dimensional accuracy, squareness, and flatness using tools like calipers, squares, micrometers, height gauges, and surface plates.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings, adhering to written and verbal instructions.
• Apply finishing techniques such as grinding, sanding, deburring, and cosmetic or functional treatments.
• Maintain all assigned tools and equipment.
• Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM. Extended hours may be necessary during peak periods.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of four years of professional welding experience.
• Proficiency in general mathematics.
• Familiarity with various welding and fabrication processes, tools, and equipment. Please specify relevant expertise.
• Capacity to work extended hours as project demands require.
• Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds as needed.
• Capable of maintaining focus and adhering to project schedules.
