We are seeking meticulous, enthusiastic, and imaginative candidates to become part of our 2026 Touring Media Team as Media Center Associates. This position merges responsibilities in photo editing with live event production assistance.
Position Overview
In the role of Media Center Associate, you will operate behind the scenes to coordinate, edit, and oversee the photographic and video content captured at our live dance competitions. Additionally, you will provide support for the setup and dismantling of production equipment, contributing to the overall execution of the event.
This opportunity integrates digital media tasks with practical event logistics, making it an ideal match for an individual who possesses a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for live events.
Responsibilities
- Photo Editing and Organization: Select and perform basic edits on event photographs to align with established quality guidelines. Systematically categorize, tag, and archive image files.
- Video Footage Management: Accurately label and systematize unedited video clips.
- Production Support: Aid in the setup and breakdown of event equipment and promotional materials. Verify that all signage and event branding are correctly positioned.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with photographers, videographers, and production managers. Provide additional onsite assistance to staff as required for production or media-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with photo editing applications such as Lightroom or Photoshop is advantageous.
- Superior organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and adhering to strict deadlines.
- A cooperative team member with a constructive outlook and an openness to travel.
- Available to work extended hours over weekends, typically from Thursday through Monday.
- Must be physically capable of lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds during event setup and breakdown.
- Must possess a valid government-issued identification or passport.
- Previous experience interacting with children and families is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Earnings: $200 to $900 per event, or an hourly rate of $18 to $20, depending on experience.
